Privacy Notice
This Notice explains how Yapsters Social handles personal data when you visit our website, contact us, register for an event, participate, collaborate with us or receive updates. Tailor it to the actual tools and processes used.

Information we collect
Depending on your interaction, we may collect your name, email, phone, organisation, enquiry details, registration and attendance information, preferences, and images or recordings where applicable. General forms do not request NRIC or sensitive health information.
Purposes
We use information to respond to enquiries; send an activations menu you requested; assess, plan and administer events and media projects; process registrations and communicate event changes; provide customer support; maintain records; protect people and property; meet legal obligations; and, only where you have separately opted in or another permitted basis applies, send marketing updates.
Consent and choices
We notify you of purposes when collecting information and obtain consent where required. You may withdraw consent by contacting the DPO, subject to legal and operational requirements and reasonable notice. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide a requested service.
Disclosure and providers
We may share relevant information with providers supporting hosting, forms, registration, payment, communications, venues or event delivery, and with authorities where required by law. Limit disclosure to what is needed and apply appropriate safeguards.
Overseas processing
Some providers may store or process information outside Singapore. Identify actual providers and locations before launch and ensure overseas transfers meet applicable PDPA requirements.
Protection and retention
We use reasonable security arrangements appropriate to the information and systems. We retain personal data only while needed for its purposes or legal and business requirements, then delete or anonymise it appropriately.
Access and correction
You may request access to personal data in our possession or control, information about use or disclosure in the preceding year, or correction of an error, subject to applicable exceptions. Contact the DPO. We may need to verify your identity.
Photography and video
Events may be photographed or recorded when notice is provided. We explain purpose and intended use, provide a way to raise concerns, and obtain consent required for publication or identifiable promotional use. See Photo and Video Notice.
Children
Where children participate, publish clear age and guardian requirements and obtain consent required from a parent or guardian before collecting or using a child's data or publishing identifiable images.
Cookies and analytics
List the cookies, analytics, pixels and third-party embeds actually used, their purposes and controls. Do not claim no tracking until verified.
